Is Tunguska Explosion a Real Life Event?

There are a number of events that have been spoken about in the book Spirit Raiders, and one of them is the Tunguska Explosion. This is a real life event and had happened in the year 1908 over the Tunguska River. That’s how it got its name.

There is a lot of mystery surrounding the event since there was no indication of what had happened. A general consensus did emerge but not until the mid-nineties. It was considered to be an asteroid blowing up in the Earth’s atmosphere and totally destroying about 80 million trees and even having few humans injured. Despite the general consensus the event still remains a mystery.

The book, Spirit Raiders, speaks about this event from a different perspective.
